Does anyone know where one might find a first edition, first printing of AFWVG? I own the second, but would LOVE to add the first to my collection.

Thanks so much :)

I think you have to buy them from a person. Maybe you can find one here, ebay or some other site.

I really hope that Emilie is working on another book though I have no idea what it would be about after this first book, but I'm just a little over half through this one so I suppose for right now it doesn't matter.

If all else fails I will gladly read the book I now have over again and again. I can't imagine who would want to sell their books but i suppose some people do, having read them already.

There is always a few on ebay, but I think you will have to splash a bit of cash.
Side note, is there any difference between the first edition first printing and the other first edition second printing?

There aren't any differences between editions. The only way you can tell the difference is through the signed bookplate that was in every second printing book.

I have been using my bookplate as a book mark, I don't think I want to stick it inside my book anywhere and I have also removed the outer cover of the book so it doesn't get damaged while I am reading it. I guess my intent is to try to keep the book in as close to the condition it came to me in as possible. Does this make me obsessive compulsive?

Nope. I'd do the same if I had the book.

My one came stuck to my book. I use my asylum pound as my book mark, for all my books.

Gunna go out on a limb and suggest perhaps collector value if nothing more. I don't know if I would want to spend such an item if I had gained possession of it unless to acquire something of greater, or, MUCH greater value.

EA twatted ages ago that she would be announcing what they were for and that we were to hold on to them.. Unfortunately she never got around to informing us haha.

Well I suppose until then they are simply lovely collectibles. And I like your choice of frame, very nice :)
