I believe there is already is a thread for this BUT since that thread is like 12 pages long or something I think a new thread is appropriate

I first found out about her when a friend of mine let me hear the song Chambermaid. I was all up in my the Cure music back then and considered the song to happy, too jazzy, too...I don't know. I still sometimes played it because I loved the intro. She showed me a picture of Emilie and she looked so typical to me, with striped stockings and all. Later, when my life was at the bottom, I was completely depressed and been let down by whom I considered to be the love of my life, I stumbled upon her music again. I was looking for a song by No Doubt, Marry Me, on YouTube. Instead, I found a fan-made video for the EA song. I recognised Emilie's name and got curious. 5 minutes later everything changed. I found the lyrics extremely smart and witty, and I loved the song overall and like a maniac I sent it to everyone I knew. Still, Marry Me is just ONE bit of Emilie's music...and then I discovered Opheliac. I was pretty much stunned. The harpsichord, the screaming...I never heard anything like it before. I was asking myself 'why am I listening to this?' I listened to it more and more and I found out that I kept listening to the song because the song was about me. Or atleast, that's how it felt. Emilie sung the words right out of my mouth. I have been a huge muffin of her since and went to all her gigs in my country except the Summer Darkness one

I love Emilie Autumn. I really do!
