How did you discover EA?

She made them private because she didn't want to be perceived as "the girl who makes EA videos"

wingedzephyr decided to remove the videos for personal reasons such as, she didn't want to be labeled as that "girl that makes EA videos." She said she'd rather make a different name for herself.

I have no idea of how I discovered EA, which is actually qute strange for me oo I listened to Opheliac and Misery Loves Company for quite a while, but after listening to her other songs the first time I really didn't like them. Then, at least a year later something personal happened, and I just needed music to listen to, and EA was just perfect.. The rest is history, hahaa c:

I was looking at Voltaire music and I saw her on the recommended videos. So I clicked it and got hook then bought a couple of albums right away. :3

It was while I was listening to Slacker radio. It played, Dead is the New Alive. It would always play that song at least once or twice whenever I used the app. So out of curiosity I wanted to find out who the artist was because it was something different than what I am used to hearing. Then I discover and I got hooked on a few songs like, I Want My Innocence Back and Rose Red.

In 2010 I fell into a deep depression and couldn't talk to anyone about how I felt. Instead I posted statuses on my FB, full of quotes or poems about how I felt. One day, a friends mother inboxed me saying "Hey, here's a song you might like. See how it suits you." She'd sent me Rose Red. I'd never heard of EA and listening to it, I didn't think much of it but I liked it nonetheless. The next day I listened to Gothic Lolita too, but left it at that until last year when my depression got worse and my suicide attempts became more frequent. I somehow stumbled across those two songs again but this time, they spoke to me in a different way- I felt drawn in, like the music itself understood me. So one by one I started hunting down the rest of her songs and they consumed me... I have no other way of escaping what I feel- Emilie is always there for me when I need her. She is my savior. <3

My friend Amelia is a big muffin of her, and a few years back, I decided to listen to her too, because she seemed interesting enough. Turns out I was right, and now I love her!

I stumbled upon an AMV of Corspe Bride on youtube set to Rose Red, and I felt heavily in love with that song and lyrics and wanted to find out who the singer was. When I found out it was Emilie I tracked down the rest of her songs and spent hours and hours watching all of wingedzephyr's videos. Without those I don't think I would've learned who Emilie was and never discovered how amazing her music is.

Looking translation of "Moi Lolita", I saw EA's "Gothic Lolita" in the list. I got interested and clicked. After I had read the lyrics, I thought it was great and I decided to listen to it. And then... I was completely shocked because of this strange, scary voice, I didn't like it first... but I felt related to the lyrics (in kind of strange way), so then I started to look for information about EA, listen to rest of her songs and I loved them. Now "Gothic Lolita" is one of my favourite songs. I just needed time to like it, I wasn't used to this kind of music.

My boyfriend knew someone who knew Gabrielle Aplin (she's a singer on youtube) and at the concert there was a group called "Birdeatsbaby" and he told me to listen to them and Emilie Autumn came up in the recommendations and i fell in love from there :3

I love how everyone seems able to identify with EA's music in some way, really nice feeling lols.

I first discovered EA through a friend online, admittedly I thought this friend was into some pretty weird/deep stuff and didnt pay much attention, but then last month she sent me some texts raving like a total Lunatic, think her caps button was stuck = =' and was like OMG OMG EA tour beginning of Aprillllll. This was literally all she talked about lol, and then she texted me straight After the show and was totally hyped once again xd I figured I'd actually listen to one of EA's songs at this point, and the rest.. is history xd
