So I've read some dreadfully negative stuff about EA's treatment towards muffins and stories in which she's been really rude to them. It breaks my heart but also baffles me, because when I met her, she was the sweetest thing and said I was beautiful, which utterly shocked me.

There's also things I've heard of EA blocking people on Twitter for just saying something like, "I love you EA, but your thing with Lady Gaga was ridiculous..." which I imagine must be DEVASTATING.

This confuses me and I wanna hear from you guys on it: Do you think any of these stories are true? How have your experiences meeting her been? Is there any validity to her being harsh towards her muffins?

What the actual fuck? The last two ones I'm used to, but the first one really shocked me...
Whenever I've read stuff about muffins meeting EA it's either been that she was really awesome and an absolute sweetheart, or that it was all rushed but that she seemed sorry for it.

I'm really hoping it's fake... Because if it isn't, oh my god I feel so bad for whoever that happened to.
He/She must have felt absolutely terrible. I would be crushed.
Also I'm seeing EA in April, so...

I've talked to more than one person about meeting EA and they said she was genuine and sweet.

I don't believe the first one. I think it would take someone pretty horrible to say "Stop copying me! I'm the only person who has ever been sent to a psych ward for a suicide attempt etc!"

As for the other two... They probably happened. People said things that she didn't want to hear, and it's pretty easy to block someone.

^ It doesn't sound like Emilie to do such a thing either. She truly seems genuinely grateful for her muffins and I've seen interviews where she talks about staying strong in hard situations and such.
As far as I understand she wants people who have been through similar things as her to be able relate to her, to know that they're not alone etc.?
'Cause y'know, she wants to raise the awareness of the conditions in some psych wards and stuff too...

I also don't believe the first one. At all.

I've met her twice- the first time was VIP and as expected she was really sweet. The second time was at Harvest this year. Myself and Miss Laurabell met her and the BC when they just arrived at the festival, and they talked to us for about 5 minutes before they had to leave and get lunch before the catering closed. She even remembered me from the show 1 and a half years previous. We got our photo with them, and as they were rushed for time EA promised she'd come out after the show and sign stuff for us. EA was a sweetheart through this entire meeting.

We saw her several times through the curtains to backstage and she excitedly waved at us every time. When it came to the show she gave Miss Laurabell and myself so much more attention than everyone else.

We waited and waited after the show for them to come out but they never did. Luckily we spotted Maggots through the curtains and called her over, where she informed us that they were really sorry but they were so busy packing up they wouldn't have time to come out and sign things for us. Instead she took our cards and texta backstage, and when she came back not only were they signed, but they each had personalised messages to us.

So even when EA was too busy to come out and meet us after the show, her and the girls took the time to write us little messages, which pretty much made our night. People just have to remember that sometimes things go wrong and EA becomes too busy too come out and sign things when you want. She doesn't break a promise out of malice, sometimes things just happen, and if you take the time to wait you may just get lucky.

So yeah, long story short, my experiences have been VERY positive.

I don't believe the first one either, but I've heard it more than once of people spreading rumors of her being rude to her muffins.

As I said, she was sweet when I met her in '09, I have no idea how any of these stories make sense with the woman I met...

That sounds much more like how I imagine EA and the Crumpets.
It just doesn't make sense at all to me that she'd say anything like that (the 1st link).

There's no way the first one is true because there would have been an uproar about it. The other 2 are legit.

EA seems to be pretty nice and warm to her plague rats. Of course, I can imagine her getting stressed out and probably freaking out at a couple who get too close or unknowingly hit a sore spot as she is human after all and makes mistakes. I overall think she is a decent person and seems to appreciate that fact it was her plague rats that have given her wide appreciate across the world. She can't always be %100 nice and smiley to everyone she meets or how she is online. I expect her to slip and have a few break downs as she must feel a lot of pressure and tension. I don't think she is ever rude to a plague rat for no reason at all or because she feels like it. Not to say she has the right to do so but it does happen.

It has been known for a while that she has blocked people from Twitter and probably it was because she was fed up already with haters and it just happened that someone said something she didn't like to hear at the moment and so she blocked them even if maybe they were not haters at all. The first one I don't believe it. I've met her once on a VIP session and she looked genuinely impressed by me for some reason, she said I was so beautiful and then when I went on the second round to take a picture with her (first round was to give her presents) as soon as she saw me she said: "Come here, my spanish princess" and I was like "Awww", it melt my heart that we were like 40 or 50 people and I told her that I came to see her all the way from Spain and she remembered that after seeing so many people. she hug me so passionately... She was a sweetheart and I can't wait to meet her again on the VIP of this year because I love her so much.
The first twat, I'm thinking that maybe the muffin misunderstood, that maybe if it is true, Emilie tried to tell her to stand for herself, to be like no one, that she was unique and should use the bad things to make something wonderful. I don't see Emilie being rude in person at all.

I completely understand her, that often happens to me as well. When I'm really, really pissed off, and somebody tells me something absolutely irrelevant, I get mad at the person for no reason. I do indeed regret it later, but oh well, such is life.

I hope not. I am going to see her in April (Manchester), and would be so hurt if she was nasty, but I cannot imagine she would be.

To quote Emilie "Revenge is the best Revenge." Everyone has a dark side. I know I get grouchy whenever someone annoys me. On a few rare occasions I snap out and may appear kind of rude. I'm not saying it's the same for EA, but it's a common trait that most people have. Someone pushes a little, you might ignore it and discard any feelings about it. But, if they keep pushing you, you're eventually going to lash out and retaliate.

There have been times when EA makes a sarcastic joke about something she's angry or feels strongly about. Take the Lady Gaga situation for example. A lot of "muffins" didn't get the joke and took it seriously. I know I'd feel disconcerted if the muffins (f..an..s) started turning on me about it. You have to remember it wasn't just one person, it was a group of "muffins." I don't blame her for blocking people on twitter because of that.

Like everyone lese has been saying, the 1st one is most likey fake. The 2nd one, probably true and the 3rd one definately happened.
