EA's Attitude Towards muffins...

I haven't had my head bitten off for disagreeing with Em, just only for standing up for her for something I DID agree with.

I think like with the Twilight fandom, the hardcore haters are just as bad as the hardcore muffins. Then again most fandoms fall into that way of thinking. People forget that sometimes.

I will agree with the above that sarcasm is impossible to translate in text without saying so, and sometimes she does jump into drama she doesn't need to. I'm usually afraid of pissing her off on Twitter admittedly (as I am with most people I respect though), but so far I haven't done so... she rarely responds though, which I expect, although I did get a pleasant response on asking about the arpeggios in "Liar"... but that's another story.

I haven't even been to her twitter XD I'm not sure I want to meet her actually, I like her music and think that in general she's probably a nice person (i'm not doubting she is, I'm saying i don't know if she is cause i haven't met her) but... I might ask a question I shouldn't XD I do that sometimes, and not only that, but to me: she and I are worlds apart, I have no business in her world, for now I'll watch through my ears.

You should try to meet her anyways. For me, meeting her several times actually pulled me in even more into her music. You get to know the artist behind the music more than just looking at text on twitter or her on stage persona. Of course, she may just be putting on a mask for all the muffins, but for me I genuinely felt welcome in her presence. I felt no hate or malicious intent. Quite the opposite actually. I just think you can't judge a person or artist solely on texts they have written on twitter. You don't see the emotion or the mannerisms that often are required to fully understand a message 100% of the time. EA tends to use sarcasm quite frequently to point out things she doesn't agree with. As others said, that doesn't always translate too well over the Internet without using facial expressions or tone of voice as a reference.

A lot of the comments posted on that website are mean-spirited from people who have been banned from the asylum (reformers) or from people who Em pissed off or hurt. In regards to Em blocking people on twitter for comments said to her, well I can understand. She doesn't have to agree with things that are said to her right? I personally will block anyone who talks crap about Em on their twitter but that's just me.

Best to just ignore it and let them have their fun.

you don't think it's at all possible that a few people might be put off by her? you honestly think it's just people who have been butthurt and want petty revenge? sorry but not everybody loves and adores EVERYTHING about her.

the Asylum reform is another forum that muffins and former muffins created to replace the topics that were removed from this forum, hence the name. Most of them were opposed to the sharp removal of many popular sections this forum used to have. They made it primarily as a place to continue those topics among other things.

people are allowed to have less than stellar thoughts towards her. she may put some people off, royally anger them. there's no rule that says you have to be all rainbows and puppies when speaking about her. people are allowed to vent their frustrations. i don't the idea that someone's opinion would be dismissed as coming from some petty jerk with a vendetta, it's all valid whether you like it or not.

However if you look at most of the crap posted on that website, its all directed towards Emilie and most if not all is written to be insulting towards her.
I really don't care what your option is about her but when she blocks you because she doesn't like your opinion or what you wrote to her, don't expect for her to put up with it.

In regards to the "reformers" most of what Iceaxe0410 wrote is true. However he is neglecting to also tell you about how the reformers have two topics where they discuss the asylum and Emilie with unflattering words. Last time i checked they were saying how much the new album is going to suck and how glad they were to see fLee leave the forums as an admin

she hasn't blocked me and i wouldn't care at all if she did, that's not my point. my point is not everybody thinks she hung the moon and they're going to express dissent towards her. and that doesn't make them classless, or their opinions invalid. if someone's frustrated that she blocked them, or over whatever else she may have done, they have the right to express it.

^^I've seen that a lot. Why doesn't anybody like fLee? I've heard a story about her being careless with merch once, and I'll admit her hair isn't evenly dyed, but what did she do to make everybody mad?

I can disagree with Em on a lot of things, but a majority of the time I believe that in person, she's very flattered by her muffins and appreciates them.

What I disagree with Em is mostly irrelevant to how she treats her muffins, but I was pointing out that I'm tired of being called a "delusional muffin" who thinks that she's a "precious, perfect angel". I never said that, I only said I highly doubt a lot of those stories are true since they're so few and far in between and seem almost with the intent of being malicious. But because I have doubts in someone's story doesn't mean I automatically think she's perfect.

Just to say, a lot of the reformers still like and appreciate EA as well have defended her where it was logical. Most of them don't have anything against EA really but more of the forum in itself when fLee was in charge which is irrelevant to the topic at hand. I am not a reformer myself, I wasn't here when drama happened so I have nothing to do with it. I am just saying.

I have come across very few plague rats who see EA as perfect and refer her as 'Mistress'. They exist but not in large numbers as it was supposed. I think the endangerment of opinions on EA doesn't exist and if it did, I am not seeing it now. I think everyone pretty much thinks EA is a human capable of mistakes. I also think a lot of the drama is pointless. No one goes around posting about other artists in debating whether they were nice or not in person towards them. There is no point. The sad thing that I find is that plague rats are trying to push her in the category of either being good or bad and mean or nice. She obviously has a bit of both. That is the end of it. EA has said she appreciates her plague rats and tries to be nice to all of them which she does fail at times which is inevitable. That's it. We are just going over it again and again and again. What is left to say?
