Will we ever see and hear EA like this again ? I wish I could have seen her back then. At least, I have youtube to fall back on.

The song she is playing here is Face the Wall, and as far as I am aware she is still performing this song, although I can;t be 100% sure. But as we all know EA changes a lot, and she changes for herself, no one else. She isn't going to stay the same, because lets face it, if Emilie Autumn stayed the exact same as she was in the Enchant era people would get bored of her, or the Opheliac era, because who wants to see the same thing over and over again.
I like how Emilie changes, and I adore all of her era's.

After her Fight Like A Girl album is out and the Asylum Musical is over, you never know, she might just change again. She always said that she was working on getting back to her happier times, to being able to wear her Enchant wings again, and she still is working on that.

She didn't play Face the Wall on the last tour, she retired it early in 2011.

^Oh, my bad. I thought that she was still playing it. But it's still on Laced/Unlaced, and all over youtube and everything, so it wont be that hard to find, surely.

This is why I wish I could have brought my friends to see an 'Opheliac' show (their first one was the F.L.A.G show in Nottingham).
I know they would have had an entirely different attitude towards it, and Emilie herself, if they'd seen her play her violin.

Still, artists need to grow and evolve, and maybe Emilie just felt like she'd played 'Face The Wall' to death, and wanted a change in her routine, which is completely understandable. I know I'm not the only person who hopes that Emilie will return with some major violin playing soon.

It just seems sad that her biggest talent is her violin playing, yet she never showcases it live. I remember when she played violin for the VIPs she said that was excited to share "what i really do", and soon followed it with that she just assumed the violin would bore people.

Somewhere she said she was working on a new violin piece for FLAG. Haven't heard anything else about it though. I miss her violin too, I didn't find out about her until right after the Opheliac era ended

so Face the Wall was already retired, but I'm glad there are so many video's of it and at least she still plays a bit of Liar live.

There is this one video where she played all of Liar on her violin because her voice was going out. Love it

I absolutely adore EA playing her violin. I can listen to her violin even if there are no lyrics - and before knowing EA I was bored by any music without lyrics. I think it's amazing and I just love to listen it. So I would love to hear her violin again...

mmm, I've watched a few of EA's performances on her violin when she was meant to sing, and I've loved them all. Sadly I haven't seen any of them though, being in Australia she never really comes down here. -.-

She has been twice in two years.. We're not doing too badly, considering she has a small audience down here. Still, we need her to come back.
