There was a topic for it, but it was started when the single was released. I've merged the two topics.

I have to say its probably my least favorite song from the album. I am not sure why its just sort of not my cup of tea. It may grow on me who knows.

Totally agree. I love the creepy/morbid nature of the song. It reminds me of a little, innocent-looking girl with a psycho-smile, a hatchet in her hand and blood on her white dress.

While I am listening to this song, I get three ways of imagining the ending.

I can see the Captain (Vecona) in the ending doing an impression of Captain Maggots crazy facial impression.

Or I can see all the Wayward girls raising all their weapons and looking at the doctors with their most crazy facial impressions.

Or I can see them glaring at their doctors while raising their weapons.

My opinion is that it was a bit silly to include a b-side that overshadows the lead single;-P

This is the song that REALLY got me interested in Emilie. Such a cheeky song, yet the delivery is so epic. A total fight anthem for the scorned. Btw, did anyone else notice that the album version is different than the single version? I hear slight differences in the vocals, and the ambient ending was chopped off a bit (thank god)

Yes I noticed. The vocals have some differences in spots like when she sings "One day that little girl" and she rolls the R when she sings "Right in the middle of my forhead". I wonder if she rerecorded some of the vocals or maybe exchanged parts with previous takes that she ended up liking better.

I like this song a lot. I can see how other people may not understand it though, if they are just getting into EA's music.

It's one of the best on the album. It brings me into a 'I-want-to-kill-someone-and-have-my-revenge'' mood. The way she pronounces the R in 'I have that little curl right in the middle of my forehead' is my second favourite part.

Love the instrumental, love the rhythm, love the chorus, and especially love the line: "Revenge is a dish that is best served NOW", but the rest of the lyrics? "And when she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was homicidal", I mean, seriously???

To be honest, first I didn't really like this song.
But now, I've been listening to the album quite alot and I find myself actually growing into the song. Now I don't hear anymore the parts that made me almost dislike it in the first place.

I quite like this song! It's very catchy and good to sing along to. I like "Revenge is a dish that is best served now." The whole song is dripping with bitter revenge.

I love this song the first time I heard it. It's so cheerfully demented. Yeah, some of the lyrics aren't so great, and the "There once was a girl..." part has been kind of overused--or maybe I've just heard it used a lot--but overall the song is great.
