I was seriously just going to post a board about this topic! That is so weird. I dreamt about Veronica last night.
Me too, a month later.
I'll share mine with everyone, and it should be pretty vivid because I've been awake for 10 minutes, and it's still fresh in my mind.
My dream starts off with me and my mother going to New York City for a random trip. (Her and I have never been there before, so I have no idea what was going on.) Anyways, her and I were walking down this random alley, and all of a sudden I hear "I WANT TO MIX OUR BLOOD AND PUT IT IN THE GROUND SO YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE!" I look at my mom, and I was like "Holy shit, the Emilie Autumn concert is today!" So we run through some random building, filled with falling plastic and metal pipes, and then all of a sudden we were in a large, open field... covered in stage lights and moon light. It was a secret NYC Emilie Autumn concert!
Emilie's stage didn't have any props or anything on it, and for some reason it was surrounded by a large, chain link fence. (I assumed she did that so stupid people would stop stealing her things! Those stupid bastards!) My mother and I were late for the concert, so we only got to hear the last three songs. The first two I heard weren't even EA songs, and I have no idea what they were... but the last song she preformed was "I know where you sleep". While she was singing this song, she came to the left side of her stage (where my mom and I were), she she began to sing to her audience personally. For example, she kind of just looked at my mom when she sang, but when she got to me, she stroke my arm with her finger and kind of like faerie hopped around me for a second. I think I fell on the ground and fainted for a moment. When I got back up, I noticed her and all of the bloody crumpets had ran away and into a big trailer covered in a brown curtain.
After that, there was a line of people waiting to get into the trailer... as if though it was going to be her meet and greet. Well, we all got into the trailer, and it turned into a huge barn-like catacomb place. (It was underground, but had a barn feeling to it... not really a graveyard.) All of the muffins were on a quest to find her and the bloody crumpets if we wanted a picture or a signing. (Stupid me was scrambling through my wallet, and the only thing I had for her to sign was a receipt... but what the hell, I would have framed it and hung it on my wall anyway.) So, we all take off on the hunt. My mom and I are running around everywhere looking, and then all of a sudden I see one of the bloody crumpets lying on the ground as if she's in a coffin. No one would talk to her because they thought she was dead, but I knew she wasn't... so I walked up to her and was like "Can I have a picture please?!" She sprang up and was like "Of course, darling!" ... and then all of a sudden three other bloody crumpets came out of nowhere to join in. I sprawled out on the ground, and they piled behind me with their heads on my side... it was an interesting pose. (My mom took a picture, but I was pissed off because my eyes were closed.) I thanked them, and they all ran off like crazy women. (Oh, and these weren't the bloody crumpets we all know and love... these were random girls that were all kind of dressed up like Madonna in the eighties... but I knew for a fact that they were the real deal.)
After I got my picture, I found out that this was the first part of the quest. Now that I found some bloody crumpets, I was determined to find Emilie... but I guess she was extremely hard to find. The barn/catacomb area had an exit at the end of it, and my mom and I found it quite quickly. At the end of it, the catacombs turned into a renaissance fair. In real life, I work at a renaissance fair, so the place in my dream had a lot of the aspects that I'm used to seeing, but overall it was a completely different place. There were five parts to it. The first was the village area. This is where the artisans, actors and entertainers were hanging out. The second part was a GIANT tree house-type structure that was probably as big as a mansion. (Picture the White
House painted brown, stuck up into a large tree.) And the other part that I remember was this huge pond area that had a secret sign that told me where Emilie was going to be throughout the day. She was currently in the town square... and so I ran to go find her.
As I was running, I realized that my mom was gone, and she had the camera. So, I got really upset because I didn't want to meet Emilie without getting a picture.
So, I ran around the town area looking frantically... and I found her waiting in line to get her hair braided. (I wanted to shave her head for being so ignorant.) But whatever, I got the camera from her, and I went to the town square. This is where I FINALLY met Emilie.
Emilie was in the town square (which was really a circle), and she was surrounded by about 50 people. They kept like 8 feet away from her because I think she was performing something that the time. I got to the circle, and for some reason at this point, I was carrying this huge, 8 foot high stool type of box thing, painted in all black. A set the box down, and jumped on top of it like it was nothing. I guess this impressed Emilie since she came my way while she was singing... then I realized what she was singing...
"Hold on, hold on to someone standing by. Hold on, don't even ask how long or why, child hold on to what you know is true, hold on till you get through. Childddd ohhh chilllddd! Hold on!
" (This is from the secret garden.)
I was happy because I actually really like that song because it puts my in a good mood for some reason. She stopped singing, and then was walking around with a huge white bag, asking for donations. She was saying "Leaves, Berries, Petals, Sticks, whatever will do!" ... and I noticed people were putting flower petals, pine cones, sticks, and other randoms shit worth nothing into her bag. I really didn't get that part, so I just ignored it and got down from my rather large stool box. She came up to me, and I simply asked for a picture. She grabbed my camera, and then looked really perplexed because she didn't know what angle she wanted to take it from. She got behind me, and snapped a picture. I was so, so, so, so, so, frigging happy. She told me it was nice to meet me, and then she went off to her next muffin. I looked at the picture on my camera, and it was a fucking shadow. After all that work, my picture was crappy, and all I could see were her teeth glowing in front of her blackened out face.
I don't remember what happened after that, but I do remember waking up thinking "I really want a picture with her!"
So, that was my dream. I'm looking forward to hearing about any that my fellow muffins have had!
