What did you thought about the interview? I liked it, particulary the part where she shared information of her pink belt that she uses everytime she is recording :lol:

Thank you very much, I really enjoyed the interview. Sometimes I stop and wonder about how Emilie helps me the most, if with her music, writing or interviews and in the end it happens to be with everything she does and said. I loved when she said that she didn't create the Asylum but the Asylum created her. I feel so related to that sentence. I love her so much. I wish they would have asked her something about the album release date though.

Even though I have heard it before I loved the part in the end where she sis asked if she sees the world in another way than everybody else. I have heard it so many times, and always reads those parts of interviews over and over, it just captures me.

Oh, these were actually my thoughts too. I love her and this statement and also for the "someone who is trying very hard to be very strong" also. I can relate so much to this.. but I do have the feeling that she got stronger and stronger and when I look up to her she is pure strenght to me. I do hope that she knows it, also. Though in songs like FLAG or One foot into another it gets through a lot.

Same here, that quote gives birth to so many thoughts about her for me.

Amazing article. I love her so much and I wish I could tell her personally lol. Emilie inspires me every day.

Also, I maybe choked up a little towards the end with the trying to be strong and the Fight like a girl bit. Damn you Emilie for making me feel like someone finally GETS it.

Lovely article though I do wish some more questions were asked, and it bothered me they said it all began with Opheliac but it seems untrue to me I believe it really started so many more years ago O-o I dunno if I was asking there would be much different questions..

Wow. I positively loved the interview. I love how good questions were asked and the answers she gave was kind of powerful but short and sweet too. I just wish we got some new photos but I guess EA has done enough to last her for a while.

If only we could get something more on the album rather than the tour.......

Thanks for posting this! It was nice to read and I really enjoyed it.

So often people tend to put Emilie on some sort of pedestal and forget that she is just a human. They bitch at her choices or because she had an idea for something yet doesn't follow through, they cry for blood and say nasty things to her and/or about her when she does something they don't agree with... It makes me sad, and after reading this interview, it makes me even more sad as it further reinforced the fact that she is, not surprisingly, just human. I often think that Emilie's fanbase is who/what blows things out of proportion , rather than Emilie herself. I hope they all read this article and are reminded that she is just like one of us.

I honestly don't know why I wrote that. haha. I just think people need to remember that inside of everyone is the same thing: someone trying to make it through all the shit and pain and heartache that life throws at you.

Anyway, random tangent is random. Thanks for linking the article.

I agree. Just the drama is really unnecessary. Even when I disagree on something I don't find the urge to rant about it or make it a big deal. What for?
