A lot of venues don't allow pro-looking cameras unless you have a press pass. And yeah, concert photography is an art in itself, don't expect perfect pictures if you're doing it for the first time!

True, I was at least hoping for better quality than the cell phone pics my mom took last time. A lot of venues say they don't allow cameras, but I saw a bunch of people video taping and taking pics, so is it like the no Flash rule or something?

Point and click digital cameras are usually alright (depends on the venue), just not pro looking cameras. And i vaguely remember one of the BC had issues with flash photography. I think that if you need to use flash, use it sparingly.

Just putting this out there. If you were too cheap to buy VIP tickets don't try to push us VIP's out of the way. This happened last year and I almost got shoved over by the same girls several times. They did nothing but complain that the show started late and they kept on trying to move me forward. Someone even offered to call security.

^Too cheap I wouldn't say is always the issue, since they sold out very quick this year. But that is incredibly rude and bitchy of them to do... -___-

We explained to them that they should have bought VIP tickets if they wanted to be in front like we had and they told us that they wouldn't pay for them even if they could and that they just wanted to be in the front and that they didn't care that we payed more.

How many VIP tickets are there per show, usually, anyway? I really want a VIP in the future, so I'm just curious.

Between 25 and 30 i guess. So that's equal to the first row of the stage.

That's nice, I honestly wouldn't let anyone in front and I am 5 foot 6.
I have paid for VIPs. I know its not nice, but its my first EA concert, and I am so excited to be front row.

^I'd agree to let them in front of me, but only for pictures, not the actual concert seats. That is, unless they were really really short.

If I may put my two cents in, nobody should feel bad for keeping their front seats and not letting anyone in front of them. Of course it is nice to be polite, but still, everyone has the right to be a bit selfish, yes?

I don't care if the person is 3 foot tall. I have paid money to have this experience. I am a nice person, but not that nice

I'm going through a bit of a dilemma when it comes to the whole height matter. I've got VIP, and so will be front (or second) row. However, I'm 5'8" and part of my outfit is a pair of Demonia Platoon 202s, which add about 3" to my height. I really will feel bad if I'm blocking anyone's view, however I already have my outfit planned out. Also, it being my first EA show, I really want to be front row. I would also feel bad just letting a single shorter (and polite, might I add) muffin in front of me, because it would feel like favouritism, and I'd be leaving out all the other shorter muffins.

I really, really feel bad but I do think I'll just be holding my spot.
