Samantha Emanuel ex Hasthorpe? Sam?

I love her, she is my teacher but I can hardly see her as anything "Bloody", the same goes for Rachel Brice. Their dance is anything but eerie and/or creepy. But for example my dancing guru Ariellah or some other dark fusion dancer, that's a totally different story... >:)

But I can hardly see any of such famous dancers as someone's background. It's like asking Dita Von Tesse or someone of that kind of fame. It could be a collaboration or being a "guest star", not really becoming a Crumpet. As much as I love the current cast they're not really the world's champions in circus arts and you're talking world's top tribal bellydancers here. The Crumpets are just good, visually matching, stylish and compatible with the show and Emilie herself. More than one star in a show is a quite risky thing to do, spotlight-wise

Still, a belly dancer is a very good idea, someone steampunk-styled prefferably, in this style or maybe something more Moulin Rouge themed. I plan to dance to EA's song one day, but I still haven't decided which one

To me, being a BC is more than being able to be creepy/eerie, especially since they're not like that all the time on stage. She'd have to be able to do comedy/be witty along with having a certain persona on stage that's brightly-dark and.........wayward Victorian? Something that's angelically proper and sophisticated, yet devilishly naughty at the same time. Ariellah is definitely a good dancer, but I think she's too much on the darker/gothier side. aRBee is obviously an amazing dancer, but she's also excellent when dealing with vaudeville as well. Plus, she could look the part (pic). I've only seen Sam show a little hint of comedy in some of her performances, but I can see that wayward Victorian attitude inside of her. Or, at least an attitude that's similar to that.

Yeah, in reality, it really would be difficult to get either of those "bellydance superstars" to be a BC because of how busy their own schedules are, but one can hope.

What about Sabrina Fox? Can't remember if she's been mentioned already XD , but she can do dark (video) and light (video) performances. She doesn't make you think Victorian, but she has variety, and she would more likely be able to have time to be a BC since she's not as popular as Sam or aRBee.

Yeah, I know. But you have to have something evil or naughty or simply "wrong" inside - and that's the dark fusion school. Of course Ariellah doesn't really do grotesque (although she does industrial victorian - she danced to Abney Park - Sleep Isabella and it's my favourite performance of hers *_*), but a lot of girl from her "school" do. Like me >:)

I've seen a hilarious performance by Darkstar (Kerry) to the True Blood opening song "Bad Things" - dark and funny in the same time. I think that's the way to go.

That's the problem with a getting a true star - they have their own fandom and people would come to see them, not really caring whose music they're dancing to. That's a common show with two stars in such cases.

I have to prepare the whole scenario behind the choreo, I like my shows to tell a story. But I'm definitely looking forward to it, I love this style

I really love Adora. I think she is great.
I don't know if I'd think of her as a Crumpet.
I see what you mean.... but I actually don't think of her as a Crumpet.
I'm sure she would look awesome as a one, but as EbonyCinders said; Her style is more electro. And I'm not sure how she would fit into the show.
And then there is of course the thing about her having kids.
I'm not really sure about her.

I think she'd make a very nice crumpet, she's beautiful and has great attitude (sometimes almost EA-ish)

But I don't think she'd leave her husband and three kids to be a crumpet. Btw, regarding her size she's 177cm/5'10" and 51kg/112lbs (beautiful skinny bitch!)

Well, I only hope Emilie doesn't recruit again (or at least leave any Crumpets behind) until after the next UK tour. I just got into them, but I've met Aprella and had a letter from Veronica and they both say to meet them next tour. I just hope they don't leave before I can...
