I disagree, I think that EA has reached that stage where she has become recognized as a credible musician, and now can show skin without seeming like she needs to. If it were necessary for her to bear her body to make herself know, she would have done it long ago. It almost seems like she was waiting till she had found her footing as a public figure, known for her music, to do something like this.

She's far from a "public figure." Heck, even in the "underground" "Goth" music scene she's really not that big. And I think it would be hard for anyone to be considered a "credible artist" after releasing the Girls/Bohemian EP.

Topless IIRC (and I may very well not). But that was never for her publicity, no matter what occurred, so it's really a different issue - and one I personally don't care about.

And she can do whatever she wants, of course, but that doesn't mean everyone has to like it.

Just checking out the site, and reading what I can (I did german for 8 years, don't remember jack all of it), it seems along the lines of Suicide Girls, the whole alt porn/pin up thing, but lacking (in my opinion, don't bite me for that). Anyway, point being, it's open to opinion and no one's entitled to have to like it just because of Emilie Autumn is their cover girl nor the nature of the photo itself that she's in.

Am I the only one that finds it ironic and slightly hypocritical that Filthy Libertines has recently been adjusted as well as Admins bashing on the chat regulars discussing sex and having sex related conversations in the chat?

I'm not contradicting that. I'm just saying it's pretty stupid the members are getting bashed en censored by the mods when they do anything sex related while the head admin and manager is posting erotic-art of the artist this fan-forum is based around.

And I won't actually be surprised if these posts disappear soon too..

There's a huge difference between showing an artistic half-nude photo and describing sexual acts in detail (and talking about specific body parts in a graphic manner) in a forum full of minors. If that wasn't the case, all the museums that have nude statues or paintings, should be forbidden as well... :roll:

The picture is erotic and classy, I like it a lot.

But I don't like the direction EA is going in. Her credibility as a musician is lessening in my eyes.

No NoOoDLe, you're actually welcome to say what you think.

You are not bashed and censored for ANYTHING sex related you do. I guess, you actually know that very well. There's a huge difference between what goes on in the chat sometimes and an appropriate demeanor on a public board. You and I know that things have gone too far in there. (Also in "For Filthy Libertines") It has been very vulgar, sometimes hardcore-pornographic, not respecting any other muffins in the same chat. That's what we HAVE to ban from the forum. The main problem seems to be the acceptance of authority of the moderators for a few members. It's actually a team of moderators taking care of the forum rules. You can see how many of them in my "thank you" topic "2009 - The year of progress...". Yes, you have to play by the rules of the forum if you come in here, even if you dislike a few of them. I mean, that's the same story on every fanboard in the world and we don't have the most strict rules ever made.

I don't know why you have to call someone stupid for this by the way. That's not the level we should talk to and about each other. That's actually what respect is about.
