Well I'm going to the Seattle show, and apparently they've finally had some snow, which is hilarious because here on the other side of the state in Spokane we still don't have any, and we've usually got feet by now XD

So... I'm probably going to end up freezing my ass off. If you're wearing tights, bring loose sweats or something that you can tug off before the show and a sweater or jacket, and gloves. I'm for sure bringing a jacket because I'm going to be outside pretty early lol.

@MissGoldfish - Oh, well just 1 row of people in front of you is no big deal at a show IMO. The only time that really upsets me is when it's a more violent crowd and I end up getting hurt. I always use the railing to steady myself when I go to rock shows. Or at least I did, until I married the 6'2 wall of huge that I currently drag with me to every show >.< He's got my back now hehe.

Not sure about your venue, but Studio Seven does offer a coat check. I think its either $2 or $4.

I'm going through a bit of a dilemma when it comes to the whole height matter. I've got VIP, and so will be front (or second) row. However, I'm 5'8" and part of my outfit is a pair of Demonia Platoon 202s, which add about 3" to my height. I really will feel bad if I'm blocking anyone's view, however I already have my outfit planned out. Also, it being my first EA show, I really want to be front row. I would also feel bad just letting a single shorter (and polite, might I add) muffin in front of me, because it would feel like favouritism, and I'd be leaving out all the other shorter muffins.

I really, really feel bad but I do think I'll just be holding my spot.

I had this same problem, only i was wearing some Demonia Torments which added an extra 5.5" to my height, and i'm as tall as you. I tried to duck down as i was second row, but there's only so much you can crouch down when you're wearing giant boots. Apparently i towered over a 6ft guy behind me.. I felt bad but the way i saw it, it was my first EA concert and i paid for VIP tickets so tough cookies to those behind me. I just wish i'd bought different shoes

Why feel bad about it? Work that extra height! Don't submit to the bruised egos of the runts behind you. Survival of the fittest, like in that Disney movie. You know, 2 Girls 1 Cup.

I don't care if the person is 3 foot tall. I have paid money to have this experience. I am a nice person, but not that nice

I guess I'll have to wear my platforms, although I honestly don't think they'd be tall enough to help me. xD Believe me, I did try to get VIP but by the time I found out it was kinda too late... but oh well. *le sigh*

Last time I was at a VIP though, I remember there being less than 20 people... I find it ridiculous tbh that some of the people who bought those tickets didn't show up.

This was a very informative thread you've started. The FLAG concert will be my first real concert and it's good to know all the in's and out's of the concert. Thankyou! ;)

The first VIP I went to there were only about 10 of us. I also find it a little strange that people would spend all the money on the VIP ticket then not go. I mean I could see if it was only a couple of people and they were sick but about half of the people that were supposed to be there weren't. Made me feel really bad for the people that weren't able to get VIP since those spots went to waste.

Whether it was mentioned before or not, it deserves to be said again.. WEAR DEODORANT. Seriously. It's the one bad thing I remember from last year's show.

My friend bought VIP tickets for me and her, but it turns out she can't go, so I might not be able to get my VIP ticket. If I don't, it means all my friends will have VIP except from me. I'm fine with thet, but my prolem is that I might not be able to stand with them, if they get to be in the front row. And I really don't want to stand alone, meeting my friends is a big part of why I'm going, and I'd probably die of anxiety if I had to stand alone. So I wonder, would it be okay to push my way to them? I really don't want to be rude to anyone, but I did in fact pay for a VIP, I just can't get the ticket because it's in my friends name. I just have to stand with my friends. Would it be very rude to try and get to them at the front?

How about trying to email Artist Arena and get your VIP anyway?

And if you don't manage to, best would be to be first in line for the general admissions, I guess.

I have emailed them, they say I need a letter of authorisation from my friend. We're trying to manage that, but I have a feeling I won't get it :/

Guys, don't feel bad...I'm only about 5'4" and I have VIP, but I really needed somebody to go with, so my best friend does too...and she's 5'11" xD.

Hello all!
So I was wondering if anyone has gotten a photo pass for any Emilie Autumn shows or shows in general?
I would love to be able to bring in my SLR camera for photos since I love photography (and the fact that I don't own any other camera), but I am unsure how to go about this or who to contact.

Does anyone know what I would need to do?
