Yep, it depends more on the venue than on Emilie actually :)

Whether it was mentioned before or not, it deserves to be said again.. WEAR DEODORANT. Seriously. It's the one bad thing I remember from last year's show.

The first EA show I went to was the first time she played in New York.... We waited in line for 5-6 hours in the freezing cold. We were first in line, kept getting bounced around by the staff... having finally gotten into the venue we ended up waiting in a room for a while only to be brought to the actual concert area where we were now not the first in line but stuck all the way in the back of the room (however the hell that happened). I magically found a spot relatively close by a speaker on the left side of the stage.

The point of my story. The entire time we were there these two beastly girls in front of me smelled like raunchy ass crack. I will not be tame with my extreme aggravation and anger. I went home feeling sick. I thought I could ignore it, I tried all night to just pay attention to the show... I would not go to the back of the room (I'm 5'2, not happening). But I was so disgusted and disappointed.

Please. Please. Please fucking shower.

xoxo

^ That's so gross! I hope that people at the concert in CPH at least take a shower, there's nothing worse than being surrounded by smelly people :&

Maybe I should bring sample deodorant and if smelly people walk by, I can say, "Here, we're having a promotion and you've been chosen to smell nice." Then again, maybe not. But I agree, smelly people are terrible. Especially when you have a very sensitive nose.

Just chipping in about the height thing. I am 5'0" WITH SHOES ON, and weigh next to nothing. I was VIP last year and somehow was in the second row...then the third...then the fourth. People kept shoving me like douchebags and I tried to stand my ground, but I AM FREAKING SMALL. I couldn't see more than the tops of Emilie and the Crumpets' heads. If that happens this year, I am freakin' throwin' elbows.

Soooo, I'm just gonna say, for anyone who is nice enough to let small people actually see...I appreciate it.

For what it's worth, my husband also had VIP and is 6'2" and he moved about four rows back on the side so he wouldn't block too many people's views.

^ That sucks.. I'm not that tall (5'7") but I would definitely let shorter people get in front of me because I wouldn't want to block anyone's view. Also, I won't be standing in the front rows, even though I got VIP, but that's because I'll be standing near the doors to find my boyfriend who doesn't have VIP ;)

Anyone have any particular.....suggestions as to what would be a good time to be there ahead of time? Cause I've got an hour and some to get there so I would like some measure of a guesstimation.

I have a question. I'm bringing my book for Emilie to sign. I would like to know where would be a good place for me to put it?? If i go back to the car i will most likely lose my spot and i don't want to be holding it the whole time cause that would just be awkward. If anyone has any suggestions to help i would gladly appreciate it. =)

I just held it the entire time when I got it signed. Nothing was going to make me let go of it.

Just be careful of holding it and where you stand. You wouldn't want to get it covered in tea.

^Crap, I never thought about stains lol. I'm wearing a black vest, so that's fine, but a white shirt xD. Whatever lol. And my necklace I can just wipe on my jeans if it gets tea on it haha.

I took my book to be signed and held it the whole time. Luckily I was front row and there was a little lip on the edge of the stage where I could rest it. As far as it getting stained, I just told myself if it got tea stained at the show it would just add to it's charm :)
