New Interview

I think it's worth a shot- people like Aprella have answered questions for their respective forums, and it would certainly promote both EA as an artist that's in touch with her fanbase AND would promote the forum as a muffin community (assuming EA would make a twat about it). I tried Emailing Melissa not too long ago, but in all honesty i just sounded a bit like a random muffin wanting a private chat with EA so understandably i got the brush off (plus the mention that EA is quite busy), however if i make it clear that it's an official forum related project there may be a chance.

Would it be best to tempt fate and email Melissa again or should i PM her on here?

Hmmm.....I don't know. Maybe PM so it seems more from the forum directed and then we can start a thread where users can pitch in questions?

I would suggest that when you start off the message you could mention how all of the muffins on the forum were so happy when Melissa took the time to ask for feedback about the VIP meet and greet and work with EA to make some changes to it in order to make more muffins happy and then see if she would do something like that but with an interview. People are more likely to agree to something if you mention how they have already done something similar to what is being asked of them. Also, you would be starting out the message by saying how muffins are very thankful for the things that she has done and show her that we appreciate the work that she does which will also make her more likely to say yes.

Oh no, she doesn't have a PM button, only an email. Now i feel all awkward incase she recognises my email address. Not sure why it's bothering me, i just don't want it to hurt our chances of getting this through. Do you think it will?

I don't think so. Just mention your username and she might recognize you or something like that. I think if you press the e-mail button at the bottom of her post on a thread it sends an email in direction to that particular thread if that makes sense

So, it can be proof. I am sure she will consider it and if you feel too nervous I am glad to do it for you, if you like.

In all honesty, I think there's nothing wrong in trying but I also think and I am sure that EA charges for her interviews like any other artist does. Which is just simple normal. I do agree that interviewers always ask the same questions that are getting very annoying because we already know the answers and I think is great if we could ask our own questions. But I wouldn't take it as an interview but more as of something that EA would do for her muffins if she's not too busy. And most likely, she will only select a few questions in the best case scenario and most likely, these questions will be the ones we already know the answer of. I understand that we may feel she has done interviews for underground magazines, radio stations that nobody listens to, etc... but these people has paid her for sure because they are a company and we are not.
I have myself imagined so many times that I could interview her as a friend (I imagine that she finds me so cool that she lets me in the tour bus and there we talked a lot and she allows me to interview her) and then I ask for permission to post everything in the forum and she says yes. Not lying here, I think about this quite a lot but I just do it for fun, because I enjoy while daydreaming. Anyway, just my opinion, this is an excellent idea but I'm 99% sure it won't work.
