It has been. :)

The sad thing is that the podcast-thing never happened...

A lot of things don't happen in regards to EA sadly :(

Yeah. I believe that the Podcast-thing was because of the Robbery some years back though... Sigh.

Considering the eerie absence (dead Myspace, skull with her name on it for the tour, removal from the crumpets list), I'm beginning to wonder if there was some sort of disagreement that occurred.

Now that you mention it, it does seem rather suspicious....

A few pages in the Asylum book are dedicated to Lady Joo Hee, so I suppose EA still really likes her.

Ahhhh, so this is where Lady Joo Hee's topic has been hiding! The search wouldn't let me use her name, I actually found the forum topic from a Google search. ^_^

Anyway...

I just felt it necessary to state my Lady Joo allegiance somewhere! She has always been my favorite Bloody Crumpet (ex-Crumpet?), for a few reasons I think.

1. She plays cello, which is my favorite instrument that I have also had the privilege to play. Sorry violin, but cello will always be first in my heart!

2. She and Emilie have the most adorable presence together. Of course, this is just going off of the podcast and photo shoot. Regardless... charming!

3. She was a Bloody Crumpet when I first heard EA's music and subsequently became a muffin. So whatever she's doing now, she will always have a place in my heart as a Crumpet.

4. I'm gonna be honest here, so please keep an open mind... but the fact that I'm a typical white male complete with an inescapable fascination with Asian woman probably contributes to my fandom.

Well, I hope that doesn't sound too oafish, forgive me Asylum!

^^ oh i hate how search these days won't let you search for words of less than 5 letters - not surprised you couldn't find Joo Hee.

I liked Joo Hee - it's sad she isn't around any more

Any idea what she's up to?

Nothing really comes up when I search, I hope she's still making music in some form or another!

Her MySpace exists, but of course it's inactive. T_T

Well I think she was one of the first bloody crumpets..reading from some of Emilie's past journals, plus she was on the WGN show way back a couple of years ago. I don't know, maybe she wanted to do other projects. Anyway did it say that she toured with her in the UK? Is she British then? Maybe she didn't want to travel all the time to America... :/
Just a guess though :P

she wasn't like the other crumpets - in that she was a cellist - and so played cello (and i think harpsichord too) on stage - she accompanied Emilie on some of her earlier tours - and also appears on some of her videos. She certainly isn't British - I assume that she is based in the US but she did tour with Emilie in the UK in Spring 2008

like you say - i suppose she has other projects to work on

Where did she go!?! Do we know?

Where did she go!? Any clues? We miss you Joo Hee (at least those of us who have been around long enough to remember you!).
