Haha well I went into the bank today with my mother and was bored, so I randomly wrote - Spread the plague www.emilieautumn.com on a scrap piece of paper and left it on one of the counters :P
I also like to make EA t-shirts and am going to make an 'Asylum Army' tank top soon :D

I think us plague rats should take a note out of their books and use their idea to spread the plague :D

I like the O.P.'s method. Truthfully I don't possess that kind of gumption.

EA has only been through here once so everything I'm about to say his hypothetical, but I'd just apply the same tack that I do with other bands: I'd bring it up to friends, acquaintances and on the various forums/networking sites I belong to. First it would be friendly suggestion. After that I'd apply the "hard sell". ;)

I love it! I just found out today that a few of my friend working for the radio show will be announcing the show for me! YEAH!

I may be starting up a horror-themed podcast in the coming year. I may not play her music (because of the whole royalty thing) but I'll surely promote the hell out of the things I believe in, horror or otherwise. One of the things I plan to do there is to give a brief rundown of all the concerts happening between each podcast. Maybe even show reviews if I'm sufficiently moved to do so.

I stuck up an A4 poster-type-thing in the refectory at uni, advertising the nearest two tour dates.

There are a bunch of random telephone poles at the end of my street (I think there's 5 or 6), so I cover them with EA pictures, flyers, and the like. It scares my neighbors but it's turned out quite a few new plague rats thus far. ;)

Well, I'm a walking billboard, what with my Asylum tank and all. :P The constant "why have you got a rat on your shirt?" gives me plenty of opportunity to explain to others the delightfulness that is EA & the Plague. I constantly show people the EA song/s that I think go best with their music tastes, and nine times out of ten I manage to get them hooked. (there's an Emilie song for everyone, don't you know?) My desktop background on my laptop is EA, my screensaver is EA, any opportunity I get to connect anything in life with EA, I take it. I keep meaning to print out flyers, though...my little town could use some Plague-ification.

As we all know, it's called the Plague because it does just that. Rub it off on someone, and if they get infected, they're bound to pass it on. ;)

I put a flier on the back of my car window.. With my damn muffler being so loud, I get a lot of looks haha I got stopped a couple of days and the officer asked me who Emilie Autumn is and whats the plague..

Otherwise, I spread the message on other websites I have and as my email signature

My poster has gone! Someone took it down. Or stole it.

Someone took it down? whoooot? well, I take flyers to school and I like to post some at the train station, because a lot of people notice it there. Oh, or I bake muffins and give them away at school, with every muffin they get a flyer. (:

I begged my mum to let me put an Asylum Army bumper I made onto her car. Success!

I printed out millions (well...quite a few) of the flyers from the website, and stuck them everywhere. School, 'accidently' left one at my neighbours place where I babysit, bus stops, the mall, grocery store near my place, sandwich boards all around the city.

Of course my vast array of EA-themed shirts; Rats Are People Too, Aslyum Army, all the crumpet wars divisions, Inmates for the Ethical Treatment of Rats, Plague Rat, Opheliac, Enchant, 4 O'Clock, Mad girl, the list goes on... I love buying and decorating cheap white tank tops.

And writing emilieautumn.com on the back of all the bathroom stall doors at school.

:P

I second this. Not only would you be able to spread the plague to quite a few people around for the sheer fact that they will stay and watch you preform it would more likely spread as they would tell there friends etc.

If you get enough people maybe even be on the news.
