How the VKA works

We've had a lot of confusion about how the VKA works, and how you join it. Here is therefore a topic that explains it all, as it is a lot harder to understand the VKA when you're new and haven't seen each change happen.

This is the VKA:
Our leader: Veronica Varlow, Burlesque General

The VKA has many different topics. This is because we are a complex group, and we do love to spam the forum with little facts and pictures and useless(or-ful) information about Veronica. Oh, and we are very dedicated. Intimidatingly so, in fact. Just desert our army, and you will see.

Main armies: The Mighty Muffin Kiss-Off goes Public
This is the first VKA. It is "World War III", originally started as a competition between England and Australia to see who has the best kissers. Per today (05.04.09), we have 15 different teams competing for Veronica's love and kisses. It is a unity as well, so we are first VKA, then the different countries and alliances.

This is where you should join first, as it has a list over soldiers on the front page and a direct link to the website (see further down)...
Also, the ranks here are purely military. Commander, Captain, Lieutenant, Medic...

The Crumpet Wars: VKA
This is a game. Let me stress it again, a GAME. So don't take anything in this thread too seriously. It is a war between the the divisions of the other Crumpets and us. There are two allied groups, Old vs. New Crumpet Alliance. You can join any of the teams within the alliance you pick, all of them if you will, but you CANNOT join teams from both alliances at once. If you have a hard time choosing between them, join the Red Cross. They are neutral. Oh, and here you can make your own rank, so be inventive!

The VKA has a book-project, where we are to make a book for Veronica. By now it has been sent almost full round, and it will probably be handed over by me and my fellow Viking VKAers at the Oslo show of the Gate II tour. ^Yep, pretty much. If you're talking about the Kiss-Off, you must also declare which area you're fighting for too. For the Crumpet Wars, you just create your own rank name.

Indeed. It is really that simple...

Although we would LOVE to have some kind of painfully delicious kissing-initiation, we don't require it (yet).

All you need is click the link and say "I'm in" and love Veronica truly. No half-heartedness. We, and she, will notice
