Would you buy an EA T-Shirt if the prices were lowered to $15 each (plus shipping)?

Hey All,

First off, Happy Thanksgiving to our non-Indian fans! j.k. :) Getting ready for the holiday season, EA and I (read: Traitor Records) are considering doing a run of Emilie Autumn T-Shirts.

Currently we sell (most) EA merchandise through CafePress and while we are overall happy with their products, utilizing CafePress makes the products a bit too pricey for EA customers. We are speculating that most EA muffins find the CafePress T-Shirts prohibitively expensive and would be drawn to more attractive T-Shirt prices (if we decided to press the shirts ourselves).

Hence a poll:

CafePress doesn't sell black t-shirts either... but yeah, its a good price. [face_cool]

Yeah, that is the big motivation to press the shirts ourselves, black and dark colors. :) The new shirts (if we print them) will not be through CafePress but another vendor.

Well, I'm all for being able to buy cheaper, black t-shirts. [face_cool] [face_grin]

As long as you don't change the designs!

And honestly, my only problem is that I don't have a credit card, an ATM account, a checking account, etc., etc. I can only deal with money orders.

Cafe Press does not seem to want to deal with money orders....

I'd buy for 15 bucks. That'd be awesome.

I think it's a great idea, and especially if we can have noir couture, ie black shirt/hoodies etc. I was considering order from cafe press, but I would muchly prefer to have a black shirt than a white one.

$15 is the perfect price for T-Shirts. I forgot exactly how much CafePress shirts were, I have gotten a couple shirts from them in the past EA's and one other band(the baseball shirts or whatever they call them), I'm not too fond of white myself otherwise I'd get more. :)

Being the uber cheap person I am, I still think 15 bucks is somewhat expensive for a shirt. I like 12 dollar and under shirts. BUT, I definitely would be much more willing to buy one for that price than at what the current prices are. I also realize that making things isn't cheap, and you have to make a profit somehow.
Thank you for asking us about the prices, I think it's really sweet of you, and it's nice to know that we're listened to!
That'll be awesome if the shirts come in black, too.

Hell $15 is a good price, I just don't get into the whole white t-shirt thing. I have to much I wanna cover up ;) But If they were in different colors... hell that would be sooo sweet!

Lowering the price would be very generous; I'd like to concur that darker shirt colors are preferable! Besides, Cafe Press shirts are short. ;)

I think 15$ is a great price for these cool shirts. I have a question though -- everything you buy at traitor-records, since it's EA's company.. does she get all the money? So like, when you buy posters, cd's, tee's and stuff from http://www.traitor-records.com/shop.html, all the money goes to EA so she can work on new music, fashion, her company, and all that cool stuff she does? If so, I'll put a bunch of stuff from there on my x-mas list. Oh, and stuff from willowtech too? Thanks. :D

Thanks Myukoi for your very thoughtful question! In fact, my living is indeed made up entirely of records sales and everything sold at TR, and everything at WTH as well. Of course, a cut of everything I earn from my musical career goes to management, and WTH profits are split between myself and fLee, and we have to pay overhead costs, and initial investments, but that's all normal and necessary. But yeah, after everything get's covered, I am the grand beneficiary, woohoo!!!
